Coding ka? Waze lets you navigate streets like a boss

By: - 06/12/2019

One of the hassles the motorists usually face, especially in Metro Manila, is the number coding scheme.  Eto yung isang araw sa isang linggo ay hindi mo mailalabas ang iyong sasakyan dahil coding nga.

Madalas hindi naman talaga ito problema kasi isang araw lang naman ito.

What if may emergency, may dapat kang puntahan in a hurry and you need to get where you should be fast, at ang tanging paraan lang ay mag-drive ka ng sarili mong sasakyan, anong gagawin mo?

Did you know that Waze has devised a plan for you kung sakaling maipit ka sa ganitong sitwasyon.

In Waze’s latest feature, users are asked to input their licensed plate number. Babantayan ngayon ng Waze ang iyong byahe allowing you to navigate through roads kung ikaw man ay coding, by suggesting alternate routes and alerting you if you are on a restricted road.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Tap the Menu , then Settings

2. Tap Car details / Vehicle details

Open settings

3. Tap License plate / Number plate

Open your car details.

Set your license plate number.

4. Enter the last 2 digits of your car’s license plate

Just input and your done!

Makakatanggap na ngayon ang iyong app ng ilang suggested routes that will also indicate kung anong area restricted ang iyong sasakyan.

Ticket alert! Pag nakita mo na ito mabuti pang ibahin mo na ang iyong daan.

To check this before your trip:

1. Tap on the ETA bar at the bottom of your screen.

2. Tap Routes on the bottom left corner to view alternate routes.

Suggested routes.

● To view turn-by-turn directions, tap List view.
● To view as a map, tap Map view.
