8 ramen houses in Metro you should try

By: - 07/01/2019

SUMMER is finally over.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) announced more than a week ago that rainy season was officially in. At dahil diyan, wet and colder days and nights are expected.

At dapat ready na rin tayo how to keep ourselves dry and warm.

Speaking of warm. Pinoys are recently hooked sa Japanese ramen.

Here’s our list of ramen-to-go-to places around Metro that would not only keep you warm but also satisfied.

1
Ramen Yushoken
Cluster 20, Molito Lifestyle Bldg., Zapote Road, Madrigal Ave., Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Thick noodles and thick broth would give you that kind of satisfaction, especially sa malamig na panahon. Feast for the eyes and very filling ang serving.

2
Bugis Singapore
Street Food
78 Nicanor Roxas St, Quezon City
More on Singaporean dishes pero we like the appeal ng kanilang Singaporean ramen kahit medyo iba talaga sa traditional ramen.

3
Tongara Ramen
Lamp Quarters G/F Unit 7, Buenviaje Subd, Mayor Gil Fernando Ave, Marikina City

Trained in the art of ramen by ramen master Makoto Okazaki, the owners of Tongara Ramen brought the flavors of Japan here in the Philippines.

4
Mitsuyado Sei-Men
Blue Bay Walk, Macapagal Avenue cor.
EDSA, Pasay City

Want a different ramen eating experience? Subukan ang kanilang Tsukumen, where the noodles and broth are separated kapag sinerve sa iyo.

5
Aligato
Japanese Carinderia
A. Bonifacio Street, Bangkal, Makati City

This street side carinderia opens late (5 p.m.) pero despite that maraming kumakain dito. Bukod sa murang ramen, other Japanese food are available din.

6
Kichitora Ramen
2nd floor, Mega Atrium, SM Megamall,
Mandaluyong City

Bukod sa classic ramen flavors, they also offer set meals to go with ramen that comes with different add-ons, depende sa pipiliin mo. Plus the cozy interior will also make sure you enjoy that hot ramen to your hearts content.

7
Tsuta
C3, Bonifacio High Street Central, 7th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

A ramen place given a Michellin star.

8
Ramen Santouka
Fourth Floor, Trinoma Mall,
Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City

Great set meals and great ambiance.
