More and more remake of Disney’s animated films are coming very soon.
Napanood na sa big screen ang Tim Burton’s Dumbo, a remake of 1941 film produced and released by Walt Disney; at ang chart topping Aladdin, kung saan gumanap si Will Smith bilang ang iconic Genie (voiced by the late Robin Williams).
This coming week, malapit na rin mapanood ang remake ng The Lion King, with semi-realistic CGI’s and new voice actors para sa paburito nating sina Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumba and the rest.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (Expected date of showing: October 18, 2019)
Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning are returning for the sequel which is expected to be shown in October.
Elle Fanning actually posted a photo sa kanyang Instagram account during the shoot kasama si Angelina wearing her horns.
Mulan (Release date: March 27, 2020)
Hati naman ang mga fans sa pagdating ng live action ng Mulan (with the theme song famously sang by Lea Salonga in the movie) dahil sa mga balitang mawawala ang ilang songs at papalitan ang dragon na si Mushu ng isang Phoenix. Li Shang, Mulan’s original love interest in the film will be replaced with another character.
In an interview, director Niki Caro said that it’s going to be “a big, girly martial arts epic.”
Chinese actress Liu Yifei will portray Mulan.
Cruella (Release date: December 23, 2020)
Have you ever wonder what was Cruella de Vil’s life while growing up? Well, reportedly isang origin movie na ang in the works featuring the Dalmatian obsessed antagonist. Balita namang si Emma Stone ang gaganap dito.
Glenn Close was the first actress to portray the villain in the 101 Dalmatians live action movie produced and released in 1996 at sequel nito.
The Little Mermaid (TBA)
Ariel, the Little Mermaid, will soon be played by Halle Bailey.

Naging usap-usapan ang pagpiling ito kay Bailey dahil sa kanyang pagiging black American, as opposed nga naman sa nakagisnang Ariel na puti at red headed sa nasabing animated film.
Peter Pan (TBA)
Three live action movies na ang nagawa for Peter Pan — Hook (1991), Peter Pan (2003) at Pan (2015). And recently nga lang na kumpirma sa isang article ang planong muling paggawa ng live action nito.
The Sword in The Stone (TBA)
The story of a young King Arthur at kung paano napasakamay nya ang legendary sword na Excalibur. Writer of the hit series Game of Thrones, Bryan Cogman is said to be tapped to write the script.
This lovable puppet who taught us that lying is bad (kung ayaw mong humaba ang ilong mo) will now have a chance to become real boy again. The first live action movie was released in 1996. Balitang nasa early stages pa lang ang development ng film na ito.
Yep, pati ang BFF ni Peter Pan na si Tinkerbell ay magkakaroon ng sariling live action remake at ayon pa sa balita si Reese Witherspoon ang napipisil na gumanap dito.
