Yoshimeatsu: A great Yakinuku experience

KOREAN samgyeupsal: Grill the meat, place it in a lettuce, add the side dishes, wrap and eat it like a burrito.

JAPAN yakinuku: Grill the meat and eat it right away along with side dishes.

Did you know that the Japanese working class usually enjoy yakiniku with beer or sake, after a long day of work.

Kaya nga this time, we want to share with you our yakiniku experience at Yoshimeatsu, located at 100-B, Maria Clara St., Banawe in Quezon City.

The Yakiniku experience

You probably want the Japan-feel when you enter a Japanese restaurant, and here you would never go wrong.

Bukod sa kanilang very Japanese-interiors, the yakiniku experience is very delightful.

A table for six or more people, two grills are set up in the middle para sa ihaw-ihaw.

There’s a tablet placed in both corners with the app already opened kung saan kayo mag-oorder.

Thirteen types of meat and side dishes and naririto. No need to raise your arm and call for the waiters dahil diretso na sa kitchen ang order mo at dadalhin na lang nila ito in a few
minutes.

But there are still staff around in case you need assistance.

Meat

As mentioned, there are 13 types of meat to choose from.

Different meats for different tastes

From their beef section, the sliced beef is the basic contender. Spiced in a different way naman ang kanilang curry beef and spicy beef yakiniku which we recommend na best to be enjoyed with their own trademark na Yoshi sauce.

The flavourful and texture of the meat was really great.

The herbed pork – a thick slab of seasoned meat, is a bit hard to cook dahil sa kapal nito. Kailangan attentive ka sa pag-grill para makuha mo yung type of grill na gusto mo – medium rare or well done.

Another panalo sa kanilang pork menu is the the spicy sliced pork bouquet, na thinly-sliced pork strips (which looks like bacon dahil sa kulay) in red spicy sauce.

Special mention naman nag kanilang pork intestines. Di mo malalasahan yung pait na
usually associated with this
type of meat.

The sides

Nineteen side dishes ang offer ng Yoshimeatsu.

Choose your sides

If you can’t go through a meal without rice, the buttered kimchi rice could fill you up kahit na walang meat na kasama dahil flavourful ito. Mashed potatoes are also served which is heavy, creamy and very filling. And that’s just from one bowl.

Kyoto Beef Roll maki is a must try.

For more yakiniku taste, you can try their pamuchi, kani salad or tempura.

After your meal, don’t forget to ask for the ice cream to conclude the yakinuku experience.
