You can do it all by yourself or with the company of friends or loved ones.  And one perfect spot is Intramuros.

Here are the top museums around Intramuros you should check out.

1. Bagumbayan‍ Light and Sound Musuem

Get to know more about Jose Rizal in a new way dito sa Bagumbayan Light and Sound Musuem. Kwento ng buhay at kamatayan ni Rizal that features wax dolls and as the name says, light and sound.

Opens: Daily, 9AM to 6PM
Entrance fee: (Minimum of 10 per-sons and reservation is required) P150 adult; P120 senior citizens and students

2. Destileria Limtuaco Museum

Wag mong kalimutan subukang bisitahin ang Destileria Limtuaco Museum, one of the oldest running distillery na dating hindi mo mapupuntahan dahil bukas lamang siya para sa piling mga kaibigan at kakilala ng mga may-ari. Bukod sa short history ng kanilang mga alak, pwede mo pang subukan ang mga ito.

Opens: Tuesday to Sunday, 9AM to 6PM
Entrance fee: P100 adult, P50 student/senior with additional P100‍ for liquor tasting

3. Casa Manila

Ever wondered how the lives of the ilustrados or the rich people of the Spanish era lived? Ang Casa Manila ay isang Filipino colonial mansion na ginawa noon 1980s bilang replica ng bahay ng isang Don Severino Mendoza, isang mayamang negosyante noong 19th century. Malalaking bedrooms at sala na gawa sa kahoy at bato ang makikita mo rito.

Entrance fee: P75 adult,‍ P50 senior/student

4. San Agustin Museum

Ang museong ito ay matatagpuan sa dating monesteryo na itinayo pa noong 16th century. Nakapaloob‍ dito ang ilang religious relics‍ na ginamit noong panahon‍ ng mga Espanyol tulad ng‍ mga chalice, polished wooden cabinets, preserved liturgical vestments at marami pang iba that calls to lovers of art and history.

Opens: Daily, 8AM-12PM and 1PM-6PM
Entrance fee: P200 adult,‍ P160 student/senior

5. Museo ni Jose Rizal

Sa loob ng Fort Santiago mo makikita ang museong ito na binuhay ang ilang sa mga importanteng snap shots sa buhay at pagkamatay ni Rizal. Makikita rin dito ang isang audio-visual room where most of his famous works and poetry are presented.

Entrance fee: P75 adult,‍ P50 student/senior

6. Bahay Tsinoy

Formally called Museum of Chinese in Philippine Life, ang museong ito ay may tatlong kwarto that showcases different things tulad ng Gallery of Rare Prints and Photographs where old pictures depicting scenes from old Binondo are housed and the Ching Ban Lee Ceramics, old relics full of history about trade during the old days.

Opens: Tuesdays to Sundays, 1PM – 5PM
Entrance fee: P100 adult, P80 senior, P60 student

7. Museo de Intramuros

Housed in the old San Ignacio Church and the Jesuit Mission House, isa ang 3-story museum na ito na walang entrance fee. Dito makikita ang ilang art pieces ng Intramuros Administration, from paintings, sculptures at marami pang iba.

Opens: Wednesdays to Sundays,‍ 9AM to 5PM
Entrance fee: FREE
