Round Trip

Why are we so crazy about milk teas?

By: - 07/24/2018

Matagal nang tinamaan ng milk tea craze ang Pilipinas. Iba’t ibang mga milk tea places
ang nagsulputan hindi lang sa Metro Manila kundi kahit sa mga probinsiya.
Also, the milk tea business has become lucrative these days.
Hindi na nga siya maitutu-ring na craze sa panahong ito since it became part of our
system (we, milk tea lovers) already.

Para na rin siyang kape na bahagi ng ating maghapon.
This is the reason why we asked people kung ano nga ba ang favorite go-to-milk tea places nila?
In no particular order, narito ang 10 Libre’s best milk tea places:

1. Chatime
Almost everywhere ang branches nito, at ipinagmamalaki nila ang pagbabalik ng kanilang Thai Milk Tea and Honey Thai Milk Tea.

Price: P85 – P110

2. Zentea
I personally recommend the Yogu Strawberry of Zentea. The yogurt goes well with straw-berry and milk tea mix.

Price: P90 – P100

3. Gong Cha
Marami ring nababaliw sa milk tea ng Gong Cha and di lang yan dahil sa endorser nito na si Park Seo Joon. May soft spot din ang ilan para sa kanilang Milk Tea with Pearl Jelly.

Price: P85 – P140

4. D’ Cream
A small but significant amount of people are raving for D’Cream. Their drink of choice? The Golden Sun described as not too sweet but very tasty and creamy.

Price: P45 – P70

5. Caffe La Tea
The exposure is not that well yet, pero minsan na namin itong nai-feature sa Round Trip Anonas edition. Impressive ang wide variety of drinks nila from teas, frappes, and coffees. Bet namin ang Peach Mango Bliss.

Price: P75 – P110

6. Macao Imperial Tea
Bukod sa kakaibang tumblers, some people we asked were in unison that Macao’s Imperial Tea’s Cream Cheese is in demand. It’s a matter of choice kung anong klase ang gusto mo dahil meron silang nine variations nito.

Price: P100 – P160

7. Dakasi
You’ll be torn between Oreo Milk Tea or Bubble Milk Tea with egg pudding, pero worth it naman kahit ano mang mapili mo in the end.

Price: P110 – P140

8. Tokyo Bubble Tea
The thing about this milk tea place is hindi lang milk tea ang maaaring magpasaya sa ‘yo as this place also serves Japanese meals. The Japanese cheesecake cream infused milk teas ang bet dito.

Price range: P125 – P135

9. Serenitea
The thing about trying new milk tea place ay di ka sure what to order. With Serenitea, you can never go wrong sa kanilang classic
Wintermelon Milk Tea.

Price: P95 – P155

10. Coco

We can easily say that Coco is the number one milk tea place to try not just because laging pahaba ang pila rito, dahil well recommended siya . Milk tea flavor of choice? 3 Buddies, Milk tea top with pearl, pudding and cream jelly.

Price range: P90 – P100
