Regulasyon sa social media pinag-aaralan

By: - 01/11/2019

“It aims to address cyber bullying, harassment, online scam libel, and even illicit drug trade and prostitution by holding individuals, private and public entities accountable for their online interactions,” ani Teves. “To verify identities, online social networking services will be obliged to require their users, whether resident or non-resident, to supply and link their accounts to the valid identification numbers provided by the government.”

Pantaleon Alvarez.

“This proposed bill seeks to afford a remedial measures on the foregoing matters and will regulate these social media by mandating social media companies to reasonably verify the identity of user applicants before they are allowed to open an account. Penalties are also provided for failure to comply with this verification requirement,” ani Alvarez.
