Round Trip

Gimme my milk tea!

By: - 01/21/2019

WE are not getting over the milk tea craze just yet. At habang tumatagal ay lalo pa yatang nagiging adik, so to speak, ang Pinoy sa milk tea. Iba’t ibang mga milk tea places ang nagsusulputan and almost everyone ay hindi na makatanggi.

Some would say milk tea has just been part of their lives. Para na lang siyang kape na hinahanap-hanap mo.

We asked our readers, ano nga ba ang fave go-to milk tea places nila? Narito ang ilan in no particular order.

Coco
Have you noticed yung dami ng pila sa kanilang mgs stores? Anong meron why young and even the old go crazy over Coco?
Price: P90 – P100

Chatime

The yogurt, strawberry and milk tea mix goes so well together.
Price: P90 – P100

Gong Cha
Marami ring nababaliw sa milk tea ng Gong Cha and di lang yan dahil sa endorser nila si Park Seo Joon. May soft spot din ang ilan para sa kanilang Milk Tea with Pearl Jelly.
Price: P85 – P140

D’ Cream
A small but significant amount of people naman are craving for D’Cream. Their drink of choice? The Golden Sun described as not to sweet and yet very tasty and creamy.
Price: P45 – P70

Happy Lemon
If you are bored with the usual wintermelon or milk tea, then you better try their yakult-infused tea. You can also try their Mango matcha latte.

Price: P90 – P115

Macao
Imperial Tea
Bukod sa kakaibang tumblers, I heard through the grapevine of our surveys that their Cream Cheese is in demand. It’s a matter of choice kung anong klase ang gusto mo dahil meron silang nine variations nito.
Price: P100 – P160

Dakasi
You’ll be torn between Oreo Milk tea or Bubble Milk Tea with Egg Pudding, pero worth it naman kahit ano mang mapili mo in the end.
Price: P110 – P140

Tokyo
Bubble Tea
The thing about this milk tea place is hindi lang milk tea ang maaaring magpasaya sa ‘yo as they also serve varieties of meals. And they have Japanese cheesecakes, too!

Price: P125 – P135

Serenitea
The thing about trying new milk tea places (or even milk tea kung coffee lover ka) ay di ka sure what to order. With Serenitea, you can never go wrong sa kanilang classic Wintermelon milk tea.
Price: P95 – P155
