BEATING the summer heat is everyone’s goal these days.
Madalas hindi na sapat ang malamig na tubig o kaya ang halo-halo to quench the thirst. Lahat ay naghahanap ng ibang kick to chill ourselves.
Lucky us, we found a perfect dessert place called Snow Crème that will give you not just sweets but something to chill about.
THE CHILL SPOT
Tucked along the streets of Maginhawa, Snow Crème is quite easy to find and definitely worth the visit. The word ‘snow’ will attract your thirst for something cold as it is a clear indication of a cold dessert.
The establishment is small but it is inviting because of its homey interior.
Dawned with minimalist decoration of green and gray, and framings of cold desserts hung on its wall, Snow Crème is the ultimate chill spot. Kung mapapadpad ka doon kasama ng pamilya o kaya ng barkada mo, may dalawang booth na aangkop sa bawat grupo. This is also a great place for date after you had your main course.
DESSERTS NA PAMPALAMIG
Their cold and sweet drinks will instantly greet you, sa front door pa lang pinapakita na nila yung best sellers nila. But once you approach the counter, you will notice a long selection of milktea, flavorful shaved ice deserts and food that will cater your cravings.

Cookie Matcha Crumble
This snow ice comes in two sizes, medium at a price of P150 and P250 for the large. Unlike most matcha flavored desserts, this one is not too strong, but you’ll get the taste instantly.
The combination of the sweet cookie crumbs, matcha and vanilla ice-cream is a must try. This dessert is also particularly good after a spicy meal.
Keso Ube Tart
This is not your typical halo-halo flavored dessert.

Nakahalo yung ube mismo sa ice! So tikim talaga yung ube sa unang subo pa lang. Pagkatapos nilalagyan nila ng shredded cheese at isang cube ng leche flan as toppings.
Mango Cream Float
Mango – perfect talaga pag summer. Snow Crème’s mangoes are just perfect to consume with the right amount of shaved ice, then topped with sprinkles of graham crackers and vanilla ice-cream.
Although wintermelon is one of the most common flavors of milktea, the kicker in this kind of milktea is in the pearls.
The sweetness is in the pearls, at sakto lang ang pagiging chewy nito.
Brown Sugar Milk
Sugar overload, it isn’t. Akala rin namin. The mix of brown sugar and milk is actually not that sweet. With the right amount of mix then shake it well, voila! you’ve got a cool and sakto drink.
